What has to be known when operating international commercial carriages?

It is forbidden for the citizens of the Republic of Lithuania to leave the Republic of Lithuania, except when they are returning to their permanent residence, going to their place of work, when they are members of coach and crew employed in the Lithuanian companies operating international commercial carriages or companies operating international commercial carriages by any means of transport, and when persons have a permit issued by the head of the State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania or his authorized person. The compulsory isolation of 14 days is imposed for all persons, who return or come from abroad, save for the members of coaches and crews employed in the Lithuanian companies operating international commercial carriages or companies operating international commercial carriages by any means of transport, as well as members of official delegations, diplomats and special couriers, who work in transit trains, and citizens of foreign countries going to the place of their residence via transit through the Republic of Lithuania with the compulsory convoy, who do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 (coronavirus infection). The isolation for members of coaches and crews employed in the Lithuanian companies operating international commercial carriages or companies operating international commercial carriages by any means of transport is compulsory from the day when they arrive to the Republic of Lithuania until the day when they leave its territory, but the total period cannot exceed 14 days. The National Public Health Centre by the Ministry of Health organizes check-up of all the persons returning or coming from abroad regarding symptoms of COVID-19 (coronavirus infection) in the international border control posts. According to these provisions, the members of coaches and crews engaged in international commercial carriages have to be isolated only when they are in the Republic of Lithuania, i.e. from the day when they arrive to the Republic of Lithuania until the day when they leave its territory, but the total period cannot exceed 14 days. If the period between the trips exceeds 14 days, the compulsory isolation of 14 days is applied, as in the case of other persons returning or coming from abroad.
