What are requirements have to be observed in the pick-up points of food and other products?
It is also compulsory to observe the requirements of occupational health in the pick-up points of food and other products:
• to create conditions and to guarantee that the employees of pick-up points would wash their hands regularly (at least every 2 hours) and thoroughly by warm running water and liquid soap and that they would disinfect the hands by special hand sanitizers;
• while handling food, the employees should avoid touching their face, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. by hands, should observe etiquette of coughing and sneezing (they should cough or sneeze having their mouth covered by disposable tissue or into the internal side of bent elbow);
• it is recommended to undertake maximum measures in order to protect employees of pick-up points (to erect partitions between an employee and a buyer, to provide employees with protective measures, etc.);
• to guarantee continuous monitoring of the employees’ health;
• not to allow the employees, for who isolation is compulsory, to work in the pick-up points during the isolation period.
When food and other products are sold online, they should be conveyed without direct contact, i.e. the buyer shall be informed by phone that the aforementioned goods would be brought and left at the specified address. If there is no possibility to convey the food and other products without a contact, it is recommended for the person bringing the goods to disinfect his/her hands before delivering the goods to the buyer.
