Does application procedure change during the quarantine?

The applications are accepted and registered during the quarantine by the territorial support administration units of the Rural Development and Fisheries Programme Department of the National Paying Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, see website www.nma.lt. The application for support and supporting documents have to be delivered personally or through the authorized person. These documents may be also submitted via information system ŽŪMIS, if possible, by registered mail or courier. The documents signed by secure electronic signature may be sent to e-mail addresses provided on the NPA website. Other electronic means may also be used. During the quarantine, the applicant may also submit a signed application for support together with supporting documents to the “application boxes” during the work hours of NPA (specially arranged places, where an applicant may submit an application without having direct contact with other persons). They are available in the territorial support administration units of the Rural Development and Fisheries Programme Department of the National Paying Agency. The applications left in the “application boxes” are taken out once a day. Then they are stamped (collection date, time, name, surname and signature of the employee, who has taken the application out of the box) and registered. The applicants shall be informed about registration of the application in 1 business day, using the phone number and/or e-mail address given on the application. The application has to provide a phone number and/or e-mail address on the application that NPA could use to notify him/her about receipt and registration of the application. If the applicant applies through the “application box” and is not notified about registration of the application, the applicant has to contact the agency not later than in 2 business days after the application has been submitted. Otherwise, in case of dispute regarding submission of application, it will be considered that the application has not been submitted. The applications may be submitted through the “application box” for the period shorter by two business days than the official deadline.
